Anticipating that there will be a large influx of international visitors to China in August for the Beijing Olympics, participants to the 2008 FIT World Congress are advised to apply for visa to China at your earliest convenience.

To facilitate the application for those who wish to obtain a business visa, the Congress Organizing Committee has engaged an official body – China Foreign Languages Publishing Administration, to send each delegate an Authorized Notification Form for Visa Application as an official document to support your visa application. We have already sent all registrants an email on May 5 and 6, asking for necessary information for sending the notification form. If you have not received that email, please download the file here . Upon completion, send it to fit2008reg1@gmail.com.

A new letter of invitation and a stamped confirmation of your registration and hotel reservation (if you have completed the payment for the said services) from the Congress Secretariat will also be sent to you at the same time via air mail.

You are also advised to consult the Chinese Embassy or Consulate immediately or visit their website to learn what documentations are required for visa application, and write to us if you need any help.

Please note that only registered delegates and accompanying persons will receive the Notification Form and Invitation Letter.
